Birkenstock is a globally recognised footwear brand known for its focus on comfort, quality, and timeless design. As a Product Designer within an agency environment, I led the redesign of key digital touchpoints across the Birkenstock website, focusing on improving usability, modernising the interface, and aligning the experience with evolving user expectations.

The goal was to elevate Birkenstock’s digital experience while staying true to its minimalist and heritage-driven identity. I focused on simplifying the user journey, improving navigation clarity, and enhancing the overall shopping experience — ensuring users could discover, evaluate, and purchase products with ease.

I conducted UX audits and analysed behavioural data to identify friction points across the homepage, navigation, and PDPs. Key insights revealed issues with product discoverability, filtering complexity, and information hierarchy. These findings guided decisions around restructuring navigation, improving filtering systems, and refining content layout.
