InfoDocs

InfoDocs

InfoDocs is a South African SaaS platform that simplifies company secretarial management for businesses, professionals, and directors. As Senior Product Designer, I led the redesign of the product and design system, ensuring a more intuitive, scalable, and visually consistent experience across the web app. My goal was to streamline workflows, improve user trust, and strengthen the bridge between design and development.

Concept

Concept

The vision for InfoDocs was to transform a complex compliance platform into a product that feels simple, clear, and modern. I led the design direction to humanize the experience — balancing professionalism with accessibility. The concept focused on efficiency and clarity: turning legal-heavy processes into intuitive user flows that empower companies to stay compliant without friction.

Research

Research

I began by conducting a full UX audit of the existing product and analyzing behavioral data using Hotjar, FullStory, and Google Analytics. This revealed key usability issues and drop-off points in registration, director updates, and document uploads. Collaborating with the product and engineering teams, I mapped these journeys and benchmarked them against leading SaaS tools. Insights from this research shaped our priorities — from simplifying information density to improving the dashboard hierarchy.

Design

Design

Leading a small team of designers, I defined a new design language system that unified InfoDocs’ product and marketing touchpoints. Using Figma, I built a modular Design System connected to Storybook and Bootstrap tokens, ensuring design-to-dev consistency. I produced multiple design variations, conducted internal usability reviews, and iterated quickly based on feedback. The final interface emphasized visual hierarchy, accessibility, and scalability — creating a consistent look and feel across every page and component.

Development

Development

I worked closely with front-end engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation across browsers and screen sizes. Every component was documented and handed off through Figma Dev Mode with annotated specs and tokens. I facilitated design reviews, QA sessions, and sprint retros to strengthen collaboration between design and engineering. By establishing a smoother workflow and shared visual language, InfoDocs’ product team achieved faster releases, fewer inconsistencies, and a more polished, user-centered experience overall.
